“ Had a delightful visit to this little charming independent eatery in Harpenden. It is nothing impressive on the outside, Just another takeaway on a High Street. However, when my girlfriend and I stepped inside the atmosphere was warm , inviting and almost carnival like. A gorgeous young tall man with blonde floppy hair , Dhillon , whisked into action before you could say 'Southdown' and menus and drinks were in hand. What a charming handsome thing! I will soon be sending my daughter and friends to check the latest candy to grace AL5's hostelries . Food was exquisite, Cooked to perfection by a very hard-working lady , And a comical 'geezer type ' that is a doppelgander for chart topper, Ed Sheeran! The place just gets better We both had double smash burgers With bacon and Cajun fries. Absolutely delightful, but we couldn't finish the huge portions. The trio in Sear worked so hard and were always helpful , friendly and Dhillon the cheeky chappy even opened the door for us ladies and wished us nice evening . At around £30, with drinks; this was a great value evening. I can see it expanding. Please keep Harpenden HQ of 'Sear' untouched . We will be back for more tender juicy bites and a smile from the blonde heartthrob Dhillon and his side man , Ed Sheeran. Jolly good effort Sear. We will be back. Hols and V xx ”
